Executive leadership coaching
A leader who coaches
I'm Dan Guglielmo. I've led, built, and sat beside leaders for decades—and coaching is how I've learned that experience travels. Working together is for one thing, becoming the leader your situation actually needs.
Begin a conversationCoaching is how growth gets imprinted into an organization's DNA.
Through MindfulCEO, I work with many of Boston's most influential executives in tech, media, and finance, coaching them to become better coaches and mentors inside their own organizations.
The conviction underneath the work is simple. Whether you lead a Fortune 500 company or a young venture, learning to coach the people who report to you accelerates performance—and it leads you toward work aligned with your values.
The Practice
Three ways to work together
Executive Leadership Coaching
One-to-one work with senior leaders, extending to their teams when the work calls for it. Deeper engagements take on the long questions, succession planning among them. No curriculum. Your real situation is the material.
The CEO Peer Group
A candid circle of chief executives from non-competing industries, meeting to do the thinking no one can do alone. I've chaired this group as a Vistage Chair for nearly twelve years.
Leading from the Center
A practice cohort for experienced leaders, live online, in an orientation and seven weekly 90-minute gatherings. The first group is anticipated to begin in late February or early March 2027.
See the cohort →“Dan has a remarkable ability to make you think differently about how you show up as a leader and coach. His work has helped me focus less on having the answers and more on creating the conditions for others to discover what they're capable of.”
The thinking behind it
The teaching lives in the book.
This practice grows out of The Field You Create, written with June M. Carter. It gives leaders two frameworks, the Energetic Arc and the Coaching Triad, for shaping the conditions where teams perform.
